Jeff Moffet

Bassist

Kansas city

Jeff began studying music at the age of nine, joined his first band at eleven, and was performing professionally by thirteen. Specializing in upright bass, he performed with symphony orchestras throughout his academic years, including the Kansas City Symphony. At the same time, Jeff was playing bass guitar with popular regional bands, performing nightly, and touring during the summer months.

As a touring professional, Jeff has performed around the world, with appearances in Hong Kong, Macau, Hawaii, across Europe, and throughout the United States — in arenas and stadiums for audiences as large as 68,000 people.

His career includes performances with a remarkable range of artists, including Kenny Loggins, Dan Fogelberg, Jim Messina, Delbert McClinton, Michael Johnson, Mac McAnally, The Band Perry, John Travolta, Martina McBride, Melissa Etheridge, and Sheryl Crow.

Jeff’s dedication and contributions to music were honored with his induction into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame as a bassist.

Now based in Naples, Florida, he loves to play music with his friends in the Rewind Band.
